Hello World!

I was born to be an artist.

"I knew I wanted to be an artist at the age of five. I believe in the great power of art, in how it can impact and foster to shift the consciousness of mankind towards a potential spiritual evolution.   I wish  my work to be a part of encouragement and discovery of beauty and strength

for the growth of inner life within all of us. My art comes from my soul's desire to open up
our connections to the inner light and love and beyond for the innate yearning for the human spiritual awakening and enlightenment. My art is a message and energy from my soul
externalized on a visual dimension to inspire the feeling of joy, peace and love in every person."

Yuko Adachi is a Tokyo-born artist who was raised in Japan, Paris, London and the USA. She studied at various art institutions and schools in England and the USA.

Despite her multicultural upbringing, spirituality has always been an important part of her Japanese culture. Feeling the life energy from every sentient being around her, Yuko Adachi developed a heightened sensitivity to perceiving the vitality from her surroundings – especially from Nature and human beings. One can easily observe in her abstract art the influence of beauty and mysticism inspired by our environment, which she is able to express with originality and vivid imagination.

Yuko Adachi has been recognized by the art world with many awards and reviews including the first prize from New England’s art magazine "Art Scope". The Manhattan Art International in New York awarded her work for Best in Painting in "Healing Power of Art". South End News nominated her public artwork in Boston for "Best Public Art".

Numerous works by Yuko Adachi were already acquired by private and institutional collections, corporations, and medical communities including well-known hospitals, alterantive medical practices and holistic reatments clinics .

Today, she works in Switzerland and lives with a Swiss artist husband and two most beautiful angelic beings, "her beloved children".

Yuko's World of art

“My artwork reflects my love for life, an appreciation of being alive and my interest in expressing the spiritual journey during the process of creating art. I consider it my responsibility as an artist to stay genuine to what it means to create art and to understand how art can be so important to support and foster the potential spiritual evolution of humans.

I work mainly in oil on canvas and mixed media on paper in different scales, covering a variety of subject matters that presently interest me. I am a kind of an artist who enjoys exploring a certain theme in series, then I move on to the next theme where my curiosity takes me. This keeps my creative and artistic spirit open for everything.

I do not make any preliminary sketches for any of my artwork. I simply dive into the unknown. By being in the present moment and letting go the fear I walk right into an unexpected state of mind, I am able to express my creativity without getting trapped in one place. This is the most crucial aspect of my approach as it liberates my soul to freely choose what truly speaks to my mind in this moment of NOW, allowing my soul to tap into the highest potential spheres that one can reach. This practice keeps my artwork alive, genuine, authentic and timeless with ever so positive vibrations for the life of the universe.

I believe that art is the ultimate form of love externalized on a visual level, transmitting energy as I put my love into every brush stroke that I make".

"Art is love."

"Art is a universal language of souls which fundamentally liberates our mind to help us experience the eternal truth of what we are. Through my art I attempt to open up our connection to the inner LIGHT and LOVE within all mankind".
